Mary Berry inspired!

The smoothie bike was much in demand today at Lenzie Union Church. A fair trade event with a selection of cakes, biscuits and cupcakes being judged ultimately on how many fair trade items used to make them. 3 age categories. Several stalls of items like jewellery and bags and jams and so on.

And the food coops' smoothie bike. Juice and fruit go into a blender jug, which is attached to the front of the bike then it's all turned into a smoothie drink by the wonder of pedal power!

The great thing about it is once you have a kid working it, you suddenly have a crowd of other kids all wanting a go. Each eager to do it better than the one before.

So busy, busy morning. Home and collapsed just past 1 and have vegetated ever since. There's a busy day coming up tomorrow.
