Supes is Seven!

Sally's birthday today. Surprisingly she was the last to wake this morning....then downstairs to open presents. Each one carefully and methodically opened, savouring the moment, cards first then presents. So different to J&K who just dive in. A very special girl.

No activities today....The day was spent tidying and decorating in preparation for the party this afternoon. Movies/Oscars theme....red carpet leading to the front door, popcorn, hotdogs, ice cream and a movie in our pop up cinema. Seemed to go well and relatively trouble free.... One of the girls proclaimed half way through that this was the best party ever. I was quite smug for about five minutes until she proclaimed that "it was the best hotdog ever!" and I realised these outbursts probably didn't carry that much weight.

Anyway Sal has had a great day and that's what counts.
