Volunteer day

Just a quick back blip - as I had such a full day yesterday and totally forgot to post. This is a photo of me (in orange) and another volunteer as we were staffing the Volunteer Centre booth yesterday. I've been starting to do some photo & video work for the Volunteer Centre, and already I am seeing some opportunities starting to appear, including this event, an annual International Women's Day full-day conference, called "Pathways to Empowerment".

As volunteers we got to attend a couple of workshops and hear the keynote speaker for free! As well, there was a delicious lunch and we had a chance to meet & chat with some amazing women. A very inspiring (but long & tiring) day!
