Kevin in Action.

Christine's sister texted me to let me know her son Kevin would be participating in the Ontario provincial dart championships held locally all weekend.

Of course I wanted to see Kevin and see how he was doing. With Christine passing away in August, his first year at university has been tough.

But Kevin is an amazing, smart, resilient kid. He has maintained his marks to keep his scholarship, he's doing really well on midterms, and even though he started playing darts in November, he scored a 140 at one point.

Christine would be proud.

One thing I had forgotten is that Kevin has the same eyes as Christine. When we visited, it was as though she was looking back at me.
