Mosquito Breeding Pool

We have had about an inch of rain in the last 36 hours. I did not realize I had left a plastic bin with yard waste under the roof line in the courtyard. This bucket filled up with murky water and in 36 hours was already sending out mosquitoes! It has been 70 days since we have had rain. Those are some hardy mosquito eggs. Nasty little creatures. I dumped the water and hope the rest of the larvae dehydrate and die.
