Check and double check

Unit EC 3 had trouble with a gasvalve that controls the amount of gas going to the burners of the gasturbine. At startup last night it did not complete the automated test to check for leaks. By means of this test the control system checks wether the pressure behind the valve stays at zero with the valve closed and 29 bar at the other side of the valve.
It was letting through so the unit failed to start.
The complete valve had to be replaced and you see it here, lying on the pallet trolley.
Jeen is here performing some checks wit leakspray to check the gaskets and after that we started up the unit succesfully.
