Fuliginous

The word of the day is Fuliginous which means Sooty or smoky... this is the closest I could get..I arrived back in Almaty yesterday to drizzly, smoky skies (from the power plants) and then awoke this morning to a winter wonderland, quite beautiful. So as we ventured out for some breakfast I snapped a few pics and this one seemed to fit the theme..the churned up snow looks sort of sooty to me.
