Soaking up the sun

Today my daughter and I tried to find Tichborne Down. On our road, we encountered floods (yes, still), mud, a wobbly lady on a bicycle and the Lavender Barn where we had coffee and cake. But where we thought there was a footpath, all we found was a hillside full of solar panels, soaking up the sun, and lots of 'Keep Out' notices. So instead we walked - and paddled - a short section of Alresford's very wet Millennium Trail. Lots of ducks and folks enjoying the sunshine. Gorgeous!
