Bathtime

This morning we got up early with the intention of heading to the Metro Centre to do some shopping, when I say early, it was actually a lie-in for me since im usually up just before 6 during the week for work.

The car was loaded and myself, Leanne & Phoebe made the trip down to do battle with the crowds, although they were not there when we arrived, we simply drove into the carpark, picked our space and headed into the quiet shopping complex. Leanne sensibly had a list and managed to find everything she needed, me on the other hand turned up not knowing what on earth to get anyone other than my brother, who every year will make up a list.

At 11:30 we decided to go for lunch before the usual rush, thanfully this proved to be a very good idea as by 12 the crowds were queing at the bar waiting for a table. Once we had enough of trying to eat the generous portion of food, we headed back out to the shops, only to find the whole complex was jammed with people, combined with a teething grumpy one year old who began to lash out at Leanne we soon found ourselves heading for the exit into the rain soaked carpark.

Later at night Leanne and Phoebe had a bath, with Phoebe trying to eat the bubbles, and I headed to the Chinese for some food.
