Lyveden New Bield

En route back home from our overnight stop in Fenstanton, we headed to a National Trust property called Lyveden New Bield. The property itself was left incomplete around 1605 and the audio handsets that we were issued with made it all much more interesting as we walked around the building, gardens and orchard.

This shot is taken from the top of a carefully positioned mound, of which there are 3 or 4 dotted around the garden area. I like the way that the sun is shining through the trees to form shadows on the grass, whilst keeping a sense of the view beyond the trees.
