Star gazing

The night sky has often been very clear the last few weeks and always fascinates me. This evening took advantage of theOttobeuren observatory club having their monthly open evening. Have never been before.

This evening a talk on the sun system followed by observations on their telescopes and standing outside, the chance to have questions answered on the various stars seen with the naked eye. The very bright moon and the floodlighting at the nearby Basilica, slightly impaired observation but it was still very interesting.
