Dusk

It was a really glorious day today. We had lunch on the terrace, in the shade because it was too hot in the sun, and then spent a comfortable half hour lounging and reading. It's such a pleasure having a garden directly outside the house, and just popping out there with coffee or food. Not that it's a particularly attractive garden as it's designed to be low-maintenance, mostly paving with a couple of palm trees. But it's a real sun-trap, sheltered from the wind. This is the life!

After work we drove out to the Punta del Fangar, hoping for a dramatic sunset. We didn't get one, but we walked along the beach and sat on the dunes watching the sun go down and the birds flying home, till the wind drove us back to the car. This is the view from the dunes. Go large to see the boat.

PS Last year's blip: one of my favourites! -------------------------->
