THE OLD ICEHOUSE

This is my MONOMONDAY:Architecture blip for today. It's an old icehouse in the village of Culross in Fife. It was a small commercial ice house, probably used as part of a salmon-fishing station. It was used to store ice for the preservation of fish and other foods.
