The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome

I love watching cycling, both track and road, and tonight I managed to get a sneak peak of The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome after football training.

In 2012, I was shocked at how fast the peleton travelled when I watched Sir Bradley Wiggins win the Tour de France. It was one of the most memorable days of my life and I was lucky enough to be watch it live on the Champs-Elysees!

The shock I received in Paris was nothing compared to tonight when I realised how steep the velodrome track is. I can safely say I wouldn't fancy going around there without breaks at speeds up to 70kmh. I'll stick to cycling on tarmac.
