Trafalgar Square

A side view of Trafalgar Square, on our way to the National Gallery (again) and the National Portrait Gallery. At the NGA we saw the one-room display of two of Van Gogh's sunflowers--fun and instructive. The two versions are from the NGA and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

At the National Portrait Gallery the main special exhibition we visited was The Great War in Portraits-- a small but very moving show. We also saw a one room exhibition on Vivian Leigh, marking the centenary of her birth--lovely photos and posters.
