A couple of years back, we put a bird box up in the tree in our front garden..if nothing else it looked the part but no-one decided they liked it enough to call it their home.

Until this year - A few weeks ago, Clare noticed a couple of sparrows "investigating" as to whether this could be their latest de-res, but it looked like the "doorway" was just a tad small......some minor adjustments later and now they are popping in and out, hopefully getting it ready to be their latest "love nest"

Will some young hatchlings exit from the bird house...time will tell - but I will keep you all posted......now if I can only convince Clare that I really need a 150-500mm lens!!!
