Jardin des Tuileries

Today was my and E's final day in Paris so in order to make the most of it we went to the Musée des Arts Forains (Fairground Arts Museum). The museum includes merry-go-rounds and carousels (including a bicycle carousel which is powered by pedalling riders), German swings, a horse race and a Hooghuys Organ, in amongst other old fairground attractions and curiosities – many of which we got to try out.

After a lunch of crepes at Caramel Sarrasin we attended a fashion show at Galeries Lafayette which we got to enjoy from the front row.

We spent our final few hours enjoying beers in the Jardin des Tuileries and watching the sun go down over the Tour Eiffel.

The day was completed with Mexican food and margaritas at Candelaria and some beers at Le Nun’s Cafe.
