A secret location ..

It was my bird group today, so we headed off to our 'secret location'.

I'm not quite sure why it was described as such - it's well known for kites and we were hoping to see a goshawk (and possibly saw two, distantly). We got good views of a grey wagtail and a goldcrest amongst other things.

It's been a beautiful sunny day and it was lovely to be out and about.

In the afternoon I headed to the beach to do my favourite thing - lying in rock pools photographing waders.
