The picturesque town of Brugge

I've heard that Brugge is the Venice of the North. I suppose I agree, but there are quite a few differences. There are less tourists, it's quieter, different architecture. I really loved Brugge... I have many Dutch ancestors so I thought that Belgium and Holland were really interesting. We met this really nice guys named Marten who showed us around Brugge, but I was far too gone to remember all that happened. I couldn't help but try several of the different Belgian beers.
