The bird and the lobster pot

This morning started off chilly, so we got our jobs done, then this afternoon took the children to Mudeford for a drink at the Quay, a walk and a quick play in the park.

There are always plenty of small birds hanging around the Quay Inn in the good weather as they know they can swoop in and pick up any crumbs left by people eating outside.

This little bird was watching us from inside a lobster pot.
