The Northern Lapwing.

They are hard to beat for lifting the spirits especially when they arrive with a little bit of sunshine. They are pairing up and marking out their territories and making lots of peewit calls while they dart about flying all over the sky.

Curlew, Oystercatcher and Snipe are also in the Lapwing field - actually the Snipe think its their field.
