Lesser Celandine

Another glorious sunny day. We recently noticed that an old walnut tree in our garden is dying and beginning to keel sideways. If it falls it will demolish a potting shed and possibly bring down some electric cables. So I made a start on radical tree surgery, but am having to proceed carefully to ensure the lopped branches land in the right place. It will take a while but there is no immediate hurry. I hope.

The Lesser Celandine seeds itself freely in our garden. Always has. It is a pretty little plant and very difficult to eradicate so I have decided to be pragmatic and live with it.
