A glimpse of my day

Diglis Locks Worcester

Canal volunteers day today and our task was to clear the mud/silt deposited around Diglis Locks during the recent floods. At its highest level the River Severn was above the lock gates as can be seen by the muddy tide marks.
We used high pressure jet washers drawing the water from the river to clear all the mud from this slipway. A very tiring but satisfying day.
