Seeds

Out of one tiny seed a mighty oak will grow. (Or in this case, a tasty yellow pepper.) Seeds; such important little things. We all need them. Seeds for growing crops, planting ideas, cultivating hope and generally sustaining us in life.

Today my Year 9s told me about another phrase. Apparently if someone is 'quiche' they are 'hotter than hot'. (That is a direct quote from one of my pupils). They did not go into detail about different quiches (lorraine, spinache, bacon, leek etc) But if you are 'quiche', you look something like Charlize Theron or Brad Pitt.

(We then had a good five minute discussion on what exactly a quiche was.. is it a pie or something else?) Education at it's finest.
