Flight to freedom ...

Last week my son got a remote control helicopter and has had great fun skimming paint off the walls as he works on his navigation skills. Being the responsible parent, I have banned indoor flights during this training phase.

My son was excited today that I relaxed the rule so I could get a photo to blip. Parenting is about consistency, right?

So this is the new helicopter, contained inside, but seeking the open skies beyond the window. Happy to report that after todays flight the paint on the walls is unscathed, but it did take a frustrating 15 minutes untangling the rotor blades from the blind cords!
