Early-bird commuters

...made possible by the early-bird tube workers, who serve them so well. At 6.10 am today at Clapham North station, one early-bird tube worker was writing this:

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

It is nothing to die.
It is frightful not to live.

Every man's life ends
the same way. It is
only the details of
how he lived and died
that distinguish one
man from another.

Rip Bob Crow

Bob Crow was general secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers from 2002 until his death at the age of 52 on 11 March 2014.

"In truth most people liked Crow because they knew he was authentic, in the age of the blow-dried speak-your-weight machine, and that he faithfully served the interest of those who elected him." George Galloway, MP
