Aurora time

Yesterday blended into today. We went out to look for the aurora. Had a brief sighting just before midnight but nothing much. Then around 1pm the sky cleared and we had a great show for around 15 minutes. Plenty of lights in the sky and even saw the crown. Plenty of green and even red lights dancing for us. Had to sort the camera out a bit to allow us to lie in the snow looking up and taking photos at the same time.
The others went back and we stayed out for another 30 minutes to see if it came back with no luck.
Liw in to get over the late night before going over to the reindeer park for a sleigh ride and then a talk about how the reindeers are kept. Great afternoon out.
Home for some lunch and to catch up on photos. It then started snowing. Popped out to do some tat shopping before going for a walk around the lake and made snow angles.
Still snowing. Not sure if we are going out for the show shoe walk tonight as there is no chance of seeing the aurora with this cloud cover.
