Delicate

I don't think I've ever found the complete shell, that is with top and bottom. I call them pearl shells because the inside is a variety of pearly colours, from blacks and purples to pinks and creams. I realise I don't actually know what this is so I will have to find my book and edit this later!
After spending a long morning in the garden, we went off to Farramanagh beach, to enjoy the sea, the divine light and do a bit of beach combing and to give my back a break!
