Starting Red

These new red leaves belong to one of three shrubs I planted in the autumn next to a new fence. It is one of the Photinia species, probably "Redstart".
My three here are destined to become a small hedge!
It was very misty this morning, and Russet soon disappeared as she chased some crows across the field! We met a party of ramblers and their dogs - but they won't have seen much today except white mist!
