Floods receding
Whilst out with the dogs this evening, I decided to do a follow up blip from 11th February, when the fields surrounding the village were completely flooded.
The river is now flowing at it's usual level and the fields are gradually drying out. They are strewn with logs and debris from the cut trees and a thick, bright green algae has formed.
I tried to take the same shot from memory but because so much of the wood has floated away, it was a bit tricky.
