Inside a daffodil

After getting home very late from yesterdays excursions, today was planned to be an easy one. Glad I decided to take a close up of the white petaled daffodil that has recently emerged in the garden. I'm always surprised by the beautiful shapes and colours inside flowers. There is a slight green at the base of the stamens and ovary.

After the photos were taken we realised that my son has missed his hospital appointment for yesterday and I ended up sitting with him in A&E again so his treatment could continue.
