The Cushion

I bought a few Cath Kidston cushions when we bought this house 6 years ago. They're just always there, a steadfast feature of the home, overlooked, but perfectly proficient at their job. They're ageing well, and every so often I catch a glimpse of them and see how nice they are.

If that isn't a metaphor for life, I don't know what is.
