Blasted heath

After a late night and a big breakfast, I thought a pleasant walk in the Perthshire countryside would blow aways some cobwebs. I asked the hotel receptionist for a map of walks in the grounds, and she recommended a pleasant 2 mile woodland walk.

After a 3.5 mile trudge along very muddy tracks across this landscape, punctuated with signs to keep away from certain areas that were used for shooting, I think I could perhaps challenge her description?

I was told by a nice lady walking her dog that it does have very good views when its a clear day...
