Parliament Street

We went to Exeter today - one of my favourite places. Having visited the city and walked past this street on many occasions, I never realised it was Britains narrowest street. At the widest point it is 48 inches (1.2mtrs) wide. But go carefully if you walk down the street - it is 25 inches (0.64mtrs) at its narrowest point! It had once claimed to be the worlds narrowest street but that accolade belongs to a street in Reutlingen in Germany.
