Satellite Vans

The Scottish Conservative Party had it's conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre today. The huge security operation rather disrupted my lunchtime walk - it really did look like they were expecting trouble. Of course, the media were present in the hope of a good story.

Some enterprising "Yes" campaigner had hired two of those mobile billboard lorries to drive a circuit outside the centre, so any new footage would have a "Yes" campaign poster in it almost continuously.

And so the fate of nations is decided. Not. At least, I hope not...
