Thud.....

It's another dreary, wet and misty day here and as i sat upstairs, working at the computer, all of a sudden there was a huge Thud very close by....terry and i headed outside to investigate.....a beautiful partridge lay on the grass close to the window!!!! after the sad feelings of the loss of a life...and i might add that i felt a bit guilty...i'd just cleaned the windows....needless to say my second reaction was....amazing blip opportunity! I mean how often can we get this close to the kind of beauty to be found in the plumage of this or indeed, any bird!

Just as an aside..... i don't often clean the windows, only on special occasions..... we're having a meditation retreat here this weekend....so it seemed like the thing to do!
