On the Waterfront

My daughter had an assignment to review a live musical performance so my wife and I joined her early this afternoon for a trip into the city.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a jazz/international Friday night music series that was just perfect.

We arrived early enough to wander the riverside and also to visit a Korean exhibit on the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). A little wine and a light dinner later we listened to Mimi Jones and her band.

It's a rare occasion that my wife and I end up in the same picture anymore, so having my daughter with us enabled a chance for a double selfie!

The whole afternoon and evening was a smile moment for me, I'm really learning to enjoy these special family times together.
