Snapshots of rural France

Sod's law...

....says that all the way through the working week it will be big suns and blue skies, then on Saturday it will stay misty all day...(and a cold wind to boot!)

Still a day at the coast blew away some cobwebs, only not on the new lens...I had planned to photograph some waterfowl at a marshland reserve, but it wasn't to be. Too hazy to get clear shots with the telephoto, so we headed to the beach.

we did however see 2 storks, flying overhead, some peewits, some great white egrets and some geese, which I have discovered on returning home, that they were Brent geese.

So this is what you get tonight, a boat in the low tide at Fouras, Charente Maritime. I think the image sums up the day's weather quite perfectly

Hope you all had a good Saturday!
