Arisarum proboscedium

Commonly called the Mouse Plant. This is a tuberous perennial with shiny arrow shaped leaves. Its name arises from its curious flowers that hide beneath the foliage. When the foliage is parted it resembles a nest of mice!
The plant is nothing to look at, but its fun factor is in discovering the little flowers! Children think they are amazing. Better than the real animals perhaps.
