rolling folds

This was a soft evening and everything felt at peace. Pastel tones darkened and intensified as the sun dipped and the clouds piled up into rolling folds as if they held too much texture for a single layer. The recumbent bases of the folds felt like they were gently reaching down to touch the darkened earth below.
