Welcome to Costa Rica

A long day travelling started with an alarm call at 3.30am and a taxi ride at 4.15am to get me to LHR T5 for my flight to Madrid. A couple of hours there, then a long (11hr 30mins) flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. We arrived just after 4pm local time and, after the usual immigration formalities, we were transferred to our hotel for the next two nights. Given that it gets dark here around 5.30-6pm there was no chance we'd be doing anything other than shower, change, have dinner and go to bed. The photos could wait another day.
