Leo and the bird's nest

A snapshot of a delightful encounter with a charming young man (Leo) -- who we spotted as he was replacing a fallen bird's nest onto a tree branch.

He then walked alongside us as we meandered on our usual Saturday traipse through the Park on our way to the Greenmarket and regaled us with stories of his family. He is the eldest of four children, with a Japanese mother and a Caucasian father, and they keep four egg-laying chickens in their Brooklyn (!) home and he told us how they eat the raw eggs, still warm & right out of the shell but when they are very fresh (they consider them stale after two days)

Wish I had a better pic to show Leo's gentle spirit.
