break in the commute #2

I love detours, except on the odd occasion that I don't have the time to appreciate them knocking me out of my usual 'corridor'. Tonight my usual route home from climbing was blocked and I had to detour into the wharf area. There are so many images, angles and opportunities waiting there.

I keep leaving my tripod at work though, which makes this sort of shot a bit tricky, especially when you are on a wooden wharf covered with ice...
