White Sands

Walking on the most westerly point on the British mainland and after all theses years of dreaming of walking on white sands in Scotland, I finally do it.
A fairly dark and stormy day with no sun light but still absolutely stunning.

Well worth the fun car ferry over and the fairly long and "very" rainy drive where we ended up in the small town of Arisaig in the only hotel that was open, actually, the only thing that was open!

The plan was to hold up here for the night in the hope that the weather cleared a little the next day for the drive up to Fort William as we had read about this being hailed as one of the worlds "most beautiful journeys".
