Museum Tinguely

Our first gloomy day in Basel. After a breakfast of pastries and hot chocolate B and I went to the Museum Tinguely (dedicated to Jean Tinguely best known for his sculptural machines or kinetic art). We saw the current exhibition 'Spielobjekte' ('play object') focusing on variable artwork or, more specifically, art that you get to play with!

We walked along the Rhine to Restaurant zum Schmale Wurf where we had beers and antipasti for lunch. After a lazy afternoon in the hotel we had dinner at Lantini before heading back to the hotel for an early night in advance of Sunday's early morning flight to Berlin.
