A walk in the ex-forest

There was a lovely mixture of light and shade this morning as Shuna and I enjoyed our constitutional in the Garadbhan Forest above Drymen.

Go large for a better view. You can see quite clearly how the line of islands formed by the Highland Boundary Fault crosses the loch, continuing on from Conic Hill on the right. They remind me of those ornaments you can buy of the Loch Ness monster!
