Amaryllis

Our amaryllis seems to be on a 13 month cycle. In 2010 it flowered in December and it gets later and later every year since.

Today is day 2 of The Return To Winter predicted by the Wetterdienst. And it has been like most of the winter. Cloudy, dry and with occasional sun. Temperature on the terrace is about 17°C (62°F).

Our chum AH is on her way back home after an evening of food and film and blethers (except blethers is a very Scottish thing - we would say quatschen oder quasseln here). It was great to see her again. Wie immer. I hope she got home without too much pain from Deutsche Bahn.
