Spring Meadow Saffron

It's hardly a Saffron - and don't eat it! Apart from being too beautiful to be eaten, it's highly poisonous, like all members of the genus Colchicum.

We spent most of the day knitting, crocheting and two-end knitting. But as you probably can guess, we took a trip to the allotment as well. Loads of spring bulbs were flowering: snowdrops, croci, Iris reticulata, snowflakes, to mention some of them. Weather was sunny, windy and cold, around +1°C.
