Lenticular Clouds

Not the most spectacular of lenticular clouds, but they were ours.

There were two of them, but by the time I had found the Canon one had escaped, and the bigger one was past it’s best.

If you follow the link above you will see what they can look like. Then again we shouldn’t be too down on our clouds as they normally only form over mountainous regions rather than Grantham.

Their peculiar feature is that they consist of separate layers which can be seen better in large.
