Full Moon Vale of Avalon

This photo was taken at 4:30 a.m. this morning just after we had dropped Stanley off the packing was finally finished at about 9:30 last night only after he had a slight panic thinking his suitcase was overweight and had started removing various items! Luckily, we realised h'ed misread the scale and read the pounds bit instead of kilos! Anyway he had lots of warm clothes including long johns so he should be fine. He informed us he would not be maintaining 'radio contact' so we wont hear from him until Friday.
In the garden, later in the day, I was lucky enough to see a yellow brimstone and one which I have since identified as a 'comma' -it was browns and oranges and had fluted wings.
An early night tonight methinks!
